My kids....Sort of!

If you own pets, you probably know how big of a bond grows between you and those furry four legged creatures (or however many legs your pet may have).  I would even come as close as to say they are somewhat like your children, whether you have human children or not.  Believe me, if you saw my mom and her dog you'd see that last statement to be completely true lol  (Sorry mom I know you love us, but that dog is straight up spoiled haha). In all honestly I'm also guilty of spoiling mine, and other peoples pets. It's so hard not to give into puppy dog eye's or cute kitty cuddles, or a bird song (if that's your thing, I am actually terrified of birds...but thats another story). Anyway, back to my point. I love my pets, or kids as I refer to them haha and I know you love yours too! I constantly see the cutest photos on Facebook, Flikr and all those other lovely social media sites and It made me really excited to stroll down memory lane and take a peak at my "kids" growing up. Not only that, but we just recently added a new addition to our crew, and I figured this was the perfect time to show him off. So without further a due, lets get this stroll started..

This is my extremely sensitive, anti-social kitty Hank. Although she is a female I really wanted to name her Hank, and if you knew her you'd see that it actually fits perfectly haha She's very unique!

Here we have Hank's sister Dolly. Because they're from the same litter they are fairly alike, other than Dolly is a bit more outgoing, and is a lot more vocal.

These are a few of my favourite photos of Cooper when we first brought him home. I wish he could have stayed that cute cuddly thing forever. He was the best puppy I have ever had, or even known in my entire life. We truly lucked out when we picked him out of the litter!

Then we come to Cooper now. One year old, and a new big brother :) Despite the fact that I spend literally all day with Coop, going to the park, playing etc...He needed a buddy, soo........

we got him a puppy! I must admit Cooper wasn't the only one who was eager to have another dog around. After scouring the internet for months, we finally dropped by the SPCA and as soon as I saw little Waylen here, I had decided.

He had a very similar temperament to Cooper so we figured he would make a good match. I know I've said this before but I really encourage you to adopt a pet if you have the means. It's a great thing to do for the animals and it make you feel pretty darn good too!!

As usual when it comes to a new family edition, I am very excited to document Waylen and his time spent with us. I also hope you enjoy seeing and hearing about these four kritters, because I am very excited to share!
